Let me introduce you to my coffee-loving self—and the story behind what lit the fire for my business.

Thyme + Stain began with a love of art, craftsmanship, and the joy of finding something unexpected.

In 2015, I left my job and moved to northern Italy with my husband, our three-month-old son, and our beloved Labrador. I didn’t know it then, but those years abroad would shape so much of what Thyme + Stain would become.

I grew up outside Boston, visiting galleries and home shows with my mom, and spent summers in my grandfather’s workshop, where I learned to appreciate the simple satisfaction of making something by hand. Italy deepened that appreciation. I fell in love with the small shops, artisans, and generations-old traditions woven into everyday life—and became especially aware of how easily true craftsmanship can be lost to mass production and imitation.

That experience stayed with me.

Today, Thyme + Stain is my way of bringing those discoveries home, shaped by my time in Europe, my lifelong love of art, and my connection to the ocean.

I believe the most meaningful pieces are worth the effort to discover. I source with intention, favoring traditional craftsmanship and lasting quality over mass production and fleeting trends.

Because a home doesn’t need more choices; it needs something worth choosing.

Every collection takes thyme—shaped by heritage, craftsmanship, and the human hand.

And that is what makes each discovery worth finding.
